At Paul’s Church

This was from 4/3/06

Paul has become a good business friend in the last couple of years. He is mostly a video guy and I was happy he called me first to take a picture of his church’s decision makers after they asked him to take a semi-formal portrait of them for posterity.

I arrived late because of severe weather, which fortunately didn’t do much more than dump a lot of much-needed rain on us. I sat up rather quickly in the church and Paul called in the subjects. His mother among them, they were suprised to see that I was setting up two matching umbrella strobes. I told them I didn’t really want to make any bad impressions about how I approach any work, even for that of a friend.

The raw result is below. I will ask Diana to clear up some of the shadows on necks and walls, but it’s otherwise a pretty good shot.
