“Little Paula”, as I’ve always referred to her, has been a client of ours since she was a wee dancer. Her mother has become something of a fixture at the dance studio, too, and was on hand as we created Paula’s senior portraits.

I have, for all intents and purposes, known Brittany since she was born. Her mother’s eldest daughter and my daughter, Jessica, were best friends growing up. When Brittany was born, I saw her a few times. But there was at least a twelve year gap between then and now.
She’s grown up a little. 🙂

Yet another referral, this time from our friend Kristen.
Soft spoken at first, Samantha warmed up to us and we started doing some really nice work with her. She has really pretty eyes and a dynamic smile.

Sarah came to us, more or less, by referral from a senior from last year. Sarah has a love for horses… everything horses. We went to the family farm for some of her images, and it was a beautiful place to take pictures, and with (you guessed it) horses.

Another family I’ve known for several years, through dance primarily. A great family with an amazing dynamic between all of them. Cameron is a lot of fun, smart, witty and it really shined during his session.

As posts go, engagement sessions are usually 2-3 images along with my cunning repartee. This time, though, I’m posting all of the images from the session. I first met Michelle many years ago in her high school days, only briefly. I’ve known her step-mother a little longer due to the dance studio portraits we’ve taken for her… well, I won’t bore you with the family dynamics. They’re just great people.
And so are Michelle and Sean. 🙂
I’ve known Kelsie for awhile, too. Also a dancer, I have been taking pictures of Kelsie since she was much younger. But she was always very quiet, so I never really got to know her. Until her senior sitting.
Without further adieu… well, I would be remiss if I didn’t point out those eyes. Wow…

Another of our fabulous seniors for whom I’ve been taking photos for many years. I think Carrie was five or six years old when we first started photographing her, in dance. She’s come a long way.

Amber came to us in the mild and meek beginning, like so many. It served her well for many images, but once she opened up a little, we were able to capture the real Amber.

We did the senior portraits of Stephanie’s older sister, Brittany, just a couple of years ago. It was a lot of fun working with Stephanie and getting some great images with which she was very happy!
