Introducing Senior Model: Desiree

Desiree attends Martinsburg High School, and is in the class of 2013.

I first met Desiree on Facebook, when she “friended” me as a local photographer (she is an artist in her own right). She does pretty well on the other side of the camera, too.

Introducing Senior Model: Sydney

Sydney attends Musselman High School, and is in the class of 2013.

Although I’d met Sydney during her older sister Jordan’s model shoot in Charles Town last year, it wasn’t until Sydney herself was before the camera that we learned that she really knows the poses.

Introducing Senior Model: Katlyn

Katlyn attends Hedgesville High School, and is in the class of 2013.

The first time we met Katlyn was as a model at one of our posing workshops. That kind of set things in motion…

Introducing Senior Model: Jacqui

Jacqui attends Musselman High School, and is in the class of 2013.

She’s a face in the crowd to some, but when she stepped in front of the camera, all that changed and she became someone people will look at a little differently now.Senior pictures in Inwood and Martinsburg

Free Stuff!

Wouldn’t it be terribly cruel if I just left it as that?  And then told you there’s no free stuff?  I’m not… but that would be so rude! 🙂

Beautiful Portraits in MartinsburgWe’re getting ready to start a few give-aways around here.  We’re giving away stuff… like engagement sessions, proposal sessions, family sessions, portrait packages, large prints, small prints, and yes, even a wedding.

But you have to stay tuned.

They’re coming soon.  Check back at least once a week if you don’t see or blog entry on Facebook or our website.

BTW, the picture above is the eyes of a good friend and client’s daughter. This was a couple of years ago… it’s such an attention getter, isn’t it? 🙂

Calling All 2013 Seniors!

This is one of those opportunities that we all consider as “too good to be true.”  But it’s for real.  And it’s available to any 2013 high school senior in this area (including Maryland and Virginia).

First, we’re going to give you an on-location session.  We’ll take lots of photos of you in a special location.  Then we’re going to give you another session at our state-of-the-art studio in Martinsburg.

Then, for every referral you send us that books, you get cash money PLUS credit toward your senior portraits.

Read the flyer, call us and set up an interview now!  We are still looking for more reps at Martinsburg, Jefferson, Washington, Hedgesville and any schools in surrounding states.

Call 304-263-3100 to discuss.

Our New Website

About four years ago, we replaced our HTML website with an all-Flash website, and then later added in some very important directional elements that helped people “find their way” in our complex website structure.

On Monday, March 12, we are changing the entire look of our website.  It will encompass all of the elements of our existing three sites (main, seniors and workshops) as well as making the links to client galleries and Diana’s nature photography easier to get to.

We invite you to visit our new site, which is a hybrid design that incorporates both HTML and Flash with a very strict database structure that makes everything seem more common across all platforms.  It’s even mobile friendly!

We’ve added all the basics, including all new galleries (pictures never before seen on our website), and intend to add much more for you to look at. This will include some behind-the-scenes photos and video, instructional videos that complement our workshops, and some great announcements for specials that go hand in hand with our social network pages and our blog.

Enjoy!  To see it, go to www.tlcphotography.com.

Senior: Hannah

That engaging smile just seems to radiate throughout the photos. For Hannah, we did photos at the studio and on-location at the farm where her horse is stalled.  I enjoyed spending a very windy afternoon doing lots of photos with Hannah.

Senior: Paul

Ever meet someone and instantly know that they are someone who will always be a friend?  I felt that way with Paul.  He was a fantastic subject and has also since been a great person to know.

Senior: Samantha

It’s hard to know how to begin with some senior posts.  I only met Samantha this year, so I really had no history to back onto.  But once I got to know her a little, it only took a small amount of effort to give us both a great working relationship.

As one of our senior models this year, Samantha sent at least five seniors to us throughout the year.
